CHANDLER, Ariz. – Independence Day will be marked by the All-American Bash in Downtown Chandler. This free, family-friendly event will feature live music, yard games, food vendors, and more. Scheduled for Thursday, July 4 from 7-9:30 p.m., the event will take place at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza, located at 178 E. Commonwealth Ave.
Local band Cold Shott and the Hurricane Horns are set to entertain with two 60-minute sets beginning at 7:05 p.m. Instead of traditional fireworks, a five-minute pyrotechnic show will be part of the concert at 8:20 p.m.
The event includes raffle prizes and free treats for attendees. Each guest can receive a raffle ticket to participate in a gift basket giveaway scheduled for 8:10 p.m., with six themed baskets available. Winners must be present to claim their prizes. Additionally, the first 400 guests who claim a coupon will receive a complimentary treat such as a bomb pop, smoothie, lemonade or snow cone.
Oversized yard games like Connect 4 and checkers will be available for families to enjoy. Water, lemonade, hot dogs and other snacks can be purchased on-site or visitors may choose to dine at nearby Downtown Chandler establishments before or after the event.
Attendees are welcome to bring food, non-alcoholic drinks, coolers, umbrellas, canopies, blankets and lawn chairs; however certain items including alcohol and fireworks are prohibited as detailed on the event's website.
Parking is free throughout Downtown Chandler with accessible parking options available in all paved lots and parking garages.
