The Chandler City Council has approved the allocation of $2,083,776.27 from city General Funds to various local nonprofit organizations. These funds aim to support the nonprofits in their mission to assist residents in need. The allocation was made based on guidance and recommendations from Chandler’s Housing and Human Services Commission.

The funds are distributed through several channels, including the city’s Social Services Fund (SSF), the Youth Enhancement Program (YEP), and a City Council designation for veterans' transportation and one-time funding. Additionally, more than $25,000 contributed by Chandler residents through utility bill donations is included in the allocated amount.

Descriptions of each organization’s program that received funding are available online at Chandler Human Services Funds.
