Rep. Greg Stanton, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 4th district since 2019, shared his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets on January 22, 2025. Stanton addressed topics ranging from women's rights and infrastructure funding to water conservation efforts in Arizona.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Greg Stanton expressed his commitment to restoring abortion rights following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. "Today should have marked 52 years of Roe v. Wade," he stated, emphasizing that "this fight is far from over" and pledging to work towards enshrining abortion rights into law.

Later that day, Stanton voiced his concerns regarding an executive order by former President Trump that affects infrastructure funding for Arizona communities. "You can imagine my concern when I read Trump's EO withholding Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds that Arizona communities are counting on," he remarked, seeking clarification from the U.S. Department of Transportation about the disbursement of these funds as intended by Congress.

In another tweet posted on January 22, 2025, Stanton discussed his recent meeting with Brenda Burman, general manager of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District. The discussion focused on post-2026 operating guidelines for the Colorado River. "As negotiations continue, I’ll be working to ensure Arizona's water allocation is protected," he affirmed.
