Rep. Greg Stanton, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 4th district since 2019, recently shared his views on several important issues through a series of tweets. Born in Long Island, New York, Stanton now resides in Phoenix and holds degrees from Marquette University and the University of Arizona.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Greg Stanton addressed the impact of tariffs imposed by former President Trump. "Trump’s sweeping 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum mean Americans will be paying more for a new car, home or even washers and dryers," he stated. He further explained that this would lead to increased home and auto insurance premiums due to rising replacement costs.

The following day, February 13, 2025, Stanton highlighted his meeting with Nathan Smith, CEO of CASS_AZ. "This week, I met with Nathan Smith, CEO of @CASS_AZ," he tweeted. He mentioned his longstanding collaboration with CASS and successful advocacy for federal funding to renovate their Vista Colina Family Shelter.

On February 14, 2025, Rep. Stanton discussed water resource management in Arizona following a meeting with Tom Buschatzke from the Arizona Department of Water Resources. "I met with Arizona Department of Water Resources Director Tom Buschatzke last week," he wrote. Emphasizing the importance of protecting the Colorado River's resources, he pledged to advocate for prioritizing this issue at the federal level.
