Rep. Greg Stanton, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona's 4th district, recently shared his views on several pressing issues via social media. His comments address concerns about air travel safety, support for firefighters in Arizona, and confidence in Congress.

On February 17, 2025, Rep. Stanton expressed concern over recent staffing changes at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He stated that "The FAA works 24/7 to ensure safe air travel for Americans, but the Trump Administration just fired hundreds of workers who are critical for their operation." He further noted that FAA employees have been voicing concerns about understaffing.

The following day, February 18, 2025, he voiced his support for Arizona's firefighting community. In a tweet, he said "Always proud to back Arizona’s firefighters in Congress! Last week I met with the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association representing firefighters from across the state." He emphasized his commitment to ensuring they have necessary resources.

Later on February 18, Rep. Stanton addressed public trust in Congress by tweeting "Confidence in Congress is at an all time low. It’s time to fix that." He suggested banning members of Congress from owning and trading individual stocks as a step towards restoring trust.
