There were 404 American Indian or Alaskan Native students enrolled in Gilbert Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.5% less than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Gilbert Unified District welcomed 33,210 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian or Alaskan Native students comprised 1.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.
