The Franklin Accelerated Academy-Downtown Campus has announced that it will continue to offer field trips at no cost to families, thanks to donations through the AZ ECA Tax Credit. Principal Merritt encourages families and friends to participate in the ECA Credit program by donating through the district's website or picking up a donation form at the school office.

The school is preparing for its annual Track and Field Day next week, with events scheduled for different grade levels on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26. The event is made possible with the help of parent volunteers and Mr. Montoya.

Thanksgiving Break will take place from Wednesday, November 27, to Friday, November 29. During this time, there will be no school sessions.

Additionally, the Franklin Downtown community is organizing an Angel Tree program starting Monday, November 25. Community members can provide gifts for families in need by selecting an angel from the tree in the front office and returning wrapped gifts by December 9.

Upcoming events include a Fall Food Drive ending on November 26, an FPO Meeting on December 3 at 6:30 pm, Spirit Day on December 6 with a Disney theme, and various concerts and activities leading up to Winter Break beginning December 20.

For more information about these events or how to contribute to school programs, visit the Franklin Accelerated Academy-Downtown Campus website or contact them directly.
