Nominations are now open for the 2025 Tempe Diablos Excellence in Education Awards. The awards recognize Kyrene employees for their outstanding contributions to education, both in classrooms and throughout the district.
For over 35 years, the Tempe Diablos have honored educators who demonstrate dedication to enhancing learning, fostering a positive school culture, and making a significant impact on students, colleagues, and the community. Nominations are encouraged for exemplary Kyrene educators, including teachers, leaders, and education support professionals.
The award categories include Class Act, Inspiration, High Impact, Leadership, Lifetime Achievement, Rising Star, and Teacher of the Year. More information about these categories and nomination submissions can be found on the Tempe Diablos website.
Nominations will be accepted until January 31, 2025. Students, staff, and parents from Kyrene are invited to submit nominations across various categories.
Finalists and winners will be recognized at the Excellence in Education Award Ceremony on May 8. The ongoing support from the Tempe Diablos is appreciated by Kyrene educators.
