Rio Salado College, part of the Maricopa Community Colleges district, has partnerships with numerous state and national schools. Notable among these are Arizona State University (ASU), Northern Arizona University (NAU), and the University of Arizona (U of A). Students planning to transfer should first contact their prospective university to confirm if their credits will be accepted. Transcripts must be sent to the new institution as part of the transfer process. Official transcripts can be requested through Parchment or other methods provided by Rio Salado College. There is a fee for each official transcript, and more information can be obtained by calling 480-517-8540.

When transferring, students should keep in mind that most schools require a minimum GPA for admission and may not accept credits with grades lower than a C. Additionally, financial aid or scholarships may not always transfer automatically, so it's essential to verify this with both institutions.
