Tomorrow marks Arizona's birthday, celebrating 113 years since its statehood. The day also coincides with the celebration of Presidents' Day. A fun fact shared by Principal Heidi Udall notes that Presidents' Day has never fallen on the actual birthday of any American President.

Upcoming sports events are on the horizon, and individuals are encouraged to check the calendar for details. In related news, the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is actively seeking volunteers to assist with running the lunch program. Without sufficient volunteers, there is a risk of discontinuation. Amy Nyman, PTO President, is available for more information via email at heritageacademy.pto@gmail.com.

The next PTO meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25th. This meeting provides an opportunity to learn about the organization's activities and ways to contribute.

In observance of the holiday, school will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, February 17th and 18th. Principal Udall hopes students enjoy their extended weekend break.
