On March 11, 2025, Stanton criticized Speaker Johnson’s continuing resolution for its perceived shortcomings in addressing key issues affecting Arizona. He stated: "My job is to stand up for Arizonans, and Speaker Johnson’s hyper-partisan continuing resolution fails Arizona. It fails to provide funding for veterans’ health care, water infrastructure, and wildland firefighter pay."
Later that day, he congratulated the DVMENSOCCER team on their achievement as Open Division state champions. In his tweet at 23:48 UTC, he said: "The @DVMENSOCCER team are your Open Division state champions! Congratulations to goalkeeper Caegen Terrell, midfielder Dario Melo, @CoachElliott13, and the whole team for finishing with a dramatic victory."
In another post on March 12 at 00:05 UTC, Stanton expressed concern over educational policies affecting Title I schools in Arizona. He remarked: "Here comes the DOGE sledgehammer going after kids and their education. There's no way this won't hurt students in Title I schools in Arizona."
