Greg Stanton, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 4th District, recently communicated a series of messages via social media regarding opportunities and political issues pertinent to his constituents. His posts highlight internship opportunities, Social Security benefits, and trade policies impacting Arizona.

On March 10, 2025, Stanton announced that his offices in Washington D.C. and Mesa are open for summer internship applications. He emphasized the value of gaining "hands-on experience in a Congressional office" and making an impact with the #AZ04 team. The post included a link for interested applicants to apply: "Attention college students and recent grads! My D.C. and Mesa offices are accepting internship applications for the summer."

In another post dated March 11, 2025, Stanton addressed concerns about Social Security benefits. He highlighted that over 126,000 people in Arizona's 4th district depend on these monthly checks to meet their financial needs. Stanton remarked on how billionaires like Donald Trump and Elon Musk may not understand this reality and reiterated his commitment to protecting these benefits: "126,000+ people in #AZ04 rely on their monthly Social Security checks to make ends meet."

Later on March 11, Stanton criticized Speaker Johnson and other Republicans for blocking a vote on a resolution intended to end tariffs imposed by former President Trump. He argued that these tariffs negatively affect Arizona businesses and families while threatening economic stability: "Speaker Johnson and extreme Republicans are blocking a vote on our resolution to end Trump's tariffs—tariffs that are hurting Arizona businesses & families."
