The Heritage Academy is gearing up for its annual World of Dance Competition, an event organized by the Dance Company. Principal Heidi Udall encourages the community to support this event, which features an Improv Jam, a Silent Auction, and a dance competition showcasing the talents of Heritage Academy dancers. "YOUR VOTE determines the winner!" Tickets are available at the door for $5.
In other news, Principal Udall reported that two emergency drills conducted this week were successful. "They participated in the drills as taught and resumed their classwork quickly after the drills were over," she noted.
The academy's sports calendar promises exciting events ahead, and parents are invited to join the next PTO meeting on Tuesday, February 25th. This meeting will provide insights into the activities of the Parent-Teacher Organization and how parents can contribute.
State testing is approaching, with dates and times to be announced soon. Principal Udall reassures parents that testing will occur during regular class hours except for Tuesday, March 25th, which will be an Online Day for students in grades 7th through 9th and 12th.
